A collaboration between the Jewish United Fund’s Community Foundation for Jewish Education and UpStart, CHIdush provides a network of eight synagogue schools with a series of workshops and retreats, individualized coaching, networking and a customized mini-grant program.

CHIdush is made possible through the generous support of the Crown Family, The Jack and Goldie Wolfe Miller Fund, and an anonymous donor. Find out more here.

LA FedThe Los Angeles Jewish Teen Initiative, launched by the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and co-funded by the Jim Joseph Foundation, asks the question: How might we engage thousands more teens in meaningful Jewish experiences?

The Federation hired UpStart to power the Los Angeles Federation Teen Program Accelerator, a two-year series of workshops, retreats, and coaching sessions to guide local organizations in launching teen programs that bring new and unique value to Jewish teens. UpStart teaches Accelerator organizations how to use proven theories and practices from the for-profit innovation sector to increase their impact.
