Alicia Jo Rabins is a writer, musician, performer and Jewish educator working at the intersection of interdisciplinary art, Jewish text, and ritual. The New York Times calls her voice “gorgeous” and the San Francisco Chronicle reviews her book, Divinity School, as “a poetry page-turner.” Rabins tours internationally performing songs about Biblical women with her “Girls in Trouble” song cycle and is the creator of the Girls in Trouble Curriculum, which empowers educators to bring stories of women in Torah to life through art. Alicia holds a MFA in poetry from Warren Wilson College and a MA in Jewish Women’s Studies from JTS. She lives in Portland, Oregon.
