Lauren Bernstein is committed to equality, social justice, and serving as a curator of philanthropic opportunities.
She recently earned her Master’s of Public Administration and Master’s of Hebrew and Judaic Studies from New York University while working at UJA Federation. Before moving to New York City, Lauren spent two years serving as an economic development Peace Corps volunteer in a rural village in Cameroon. She previously worked in development at the Downtown Women’s Center, a women’s homeless agency on Skid Row in Los Angeles. In San Diego, she worked for Rock n’ Roll Marathon as the Charity Coordinator where she implemented grassroots fundraising campaigns. Lauren began her non-profit development career in Corporate Sponsorship at the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Originally from Ventura County, Lauren graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration and Cinematic Arts. She loves listening to people’s life stories, cooking nourishing meals, riding her bike, and exploring new cultures.
