Sarah’s deep appetite for social impact, empowering and developing skills in others, and building community are the driving force of her professional arc.
Formerly the Director of Accelerators at PresenTense, she managed and implemented accelerators for Jewish social entrepreneurs across the U.S. Sarah enjoys mentoring and advising individuals creating impact in their community. She designs and facilitates professional development workshops through a design thinking lens for audiences of all sizes. Previously, Sarah served as the Development Associate of the Families Division at UJA-Federation of New York, where she helped New Yorkers reach their full potential as leaders, volunteers, and philanthropists through UJA’s mission. She was also the community manager at two previously owned IAC startups.
Originally from Texas, Sarah graduated with a BA in Art History and Italian from Smith College. She developed her entrepreneurial passion in the second grade, when she created the first bubble umbrella with an attachable shower curtain for the school invention convention. Sarah loves interactive art in public spaces that fosters dialogue and reflection, can be found at the farmers market, and currently resides in Brooklyn.
