UpStarter Network Crisis Support Fundraising Page
Upstart’s mission is to accelerate growth, nurture ideas, and advance new experiences for the Jewish community.
Although UpStart’s work is not explicitly or exclusively Israel-related, many of the organizations in the UpStarter Network have work that is connected directly and indirectly to Israel and antisemitism.
Giving directly to Israel is critical. Activating, supporting, and accelerating the organizations in the US who are supporting the impacted is also important. A recent article points out that philanthropy in the US has to bring a “Yes, And” approach. It’s in that spirit that we’re launching this effort.
UpStart is delivering custom emergency resources for the UpStarter Network to help them lead more effectively and with improved impact.
- We are designing a 3-part webinar series focused on Crisis Communications, Fundraising in the Current Climate, and Navigating Diverse Viewpoints on the Team. After these webinars, we will offer a grant opportunity for ventures to continue the conversations. The design of the grant is to offer more in depth, tailored support in the form of the venture lead.
- Each grant of $1,500 will be used for consulting hours with an UpStart-vetted expert.
