Cindy’s professional career has always been inspired by service. She started her career serving in the United States Navy. After receiving her MA at Hebrew University in Community Leader and Philanthropy Studies, she moved from Jerusalem to New Orleans, LA. In New Orleans she’s spent the past 11 years leading programs in volunteer management and fundraising. Working in post-Hurricane Katrina recovery, health care, and higher education Cindy loves connecting the details of administrative work to directly helping people and building philanthropy in organizations.
Cindy finds meaning in family, friends, and community. An avid traveler, she settled in New Orleans where she lives with her husband, stepdaughter, and dog. Cindy loves spending time in the city with her family and friends enjoying all the great food, music, art, and festivals it has to offer.
