A native of Pittsburgh, Lenny has been a passionate Jewish communal professional for over 45 years. He started his career at the JCC of Pittsburgh serving as Athletic Director and Director Emma Kaufman Camp and later moved to the national JCC Association serving as the Athletic and Camping Consultant and Executive Director of the Maccabi Games and Israel programs.
Currently, Lenny serves as the founder and CEO of Lost Tribe, a groundbreaking initiative that leverages new media to work find and engage the next generation of Jewish young adults globally, with a priority in North America and Israel.
Lenny represented the JCC Association on the U.S. Olympic Committee for 14 years, currently serves on the Western Pennsylvania and National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame Boards and is on the Executive Board of the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in Israel.
Lenny is proud to be the first and only Jewish communal professional to be honored by Jewish halls of fame at the regional, national, and international levels. He recently moved from New York City and lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.
