The basics
Sydney is a mission-driven HR professional with a passion for talent management, organizational development, workplace culture, and to-do lists.
Prior to joining the UpStart team, she served as the Director of Conferences & Operations for NewCAJE, where she oversaw all administration, communications, and volunteer management. Sydney previously worked as the Assistant Director of NFTY Southern California, where she led wide-scale community programming and oversaw regional operations.
Sydney is based in San Diego, CA, and she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
How Sydney finds meaning and comes together with others
Sydney enjoys testing new recipes and baking delicious treats for her friends and family. She also loves spending time outdoors with her husband, Spencer. Her favorite places to explore are Joshua Tree and Big Bear!
