The basics
Whitney Weathers is an awarding-winning former K-12 educator. She has been featured on National Public Radio, K-12 Education Dive, and numerous other publications for her leadership around equity, instructional best practices and leading in urban communities. Whitney earned all of her degrees in the amazing city of Nashville, TN: Master’s degree in Urban Education from Vanderbilt University, Bachelor’s degree in English from Tennessee State University and an Associates degree in English from Nashville State Community College. She joined Upstart in 2021.
How Whitney finds meaning and comes together with others
Whitney is passionate about her faith. She can be found in church on most Sundays and loves spending quiet time with the Creator. When she is not working, you can catch her chasing one of her four amazing kiddos or relaxing with her one amazing husband.
