Virtual Event: UpStart’s Field Lab for Teen Program Providers

By Categories: Events

As a teen program provider in the Jewish community, you have the benefit of working in a field where so many others are tackling the same challenges as you. At UpStart, we want to provide the opportunity for professionals like you to seed new collaborations, cross-pollinate ideas, and create win-win partnerships that helps teens thrive.

Join us in a virtual learning lab on Friday, June 5, together with the experts from UpStart network member BaMidbar Wilderness Therapy, to learn about self-care for teen educators, and how to strategically implement self-care tools to prevent burnout. This lab is open to anyone who interfaces with Jewish teens in their professional or lay-led work (full time, part-time, and volunteer leaders). Feel free to forward this opportunity along to a teen professional if you are not one.

Participants will:

  • Learn why self-care, particularly now, is vital to maintaining health and preventing burnout
  • Analyze their own approach to self-care and implement strategic steps to caring for themselves
  • Forge new connections to other community professionals and volunteers
