EVENTS AND MARKETING ASSOCIATE

UpStart partners with the Jewish community’s boldest leaders to expand the picture of how Jews find meaning and how we come together. Whether someone is starting a new Jewish venture, or reimagining what an existing one has to offer, UpStart gives them the entrepreneurial tools and network they need to build the Jewish community of the future.

Delivering engaging and meaningful experiences–both online and in person–is a critical component of how UpStart brings bold Jewish ideas to light. UpStart is seeking an Events and Marketing Associate to serve in a key support role for The Collaboratory, the largest annual convening of Jewish community visionaries and catalyzers of change in North America, and for UpStart’s Brand Strategy department, which implements UpStart’s marketing and communications strategies. This is an important opportunity to join a dynamic team charting The Collaboratory’s next phase, as well as supporting our efforts to highlight the inspiring work of our field.

A member of the Brand Strategy team, the Events and Marketing Associate is a full-time exempt position based in the Bay Area or Denver (preferred). We are also open to candidates who reside in our other hub regions (Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles). This position reports to the Senior Director, Brand Strategy, and partners closely across teams (Brand Strategy, Development, Program, and People & Systems).
