We are seeking a Talent Development & Engagement Manager to implement and develop initiatives that drive employee development, engagement, and belonging, in alignment with UpStart’s overall organizational strategy. The Talent Development & Engagement Manager will coordinate activities across the employee life cycle, from recruitment and hiring to onboarding and offboarding. This person will support talent growth and engagement while ensuring that Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) is embedded into all related structures, processes, and initiatives.
The Talent Development & Engagement Manager will be an integral part of the People team and report to the Chief of Staff, with a close relationship to the Chief Financial and Operating Officer and Senior Director, DEIJ. We are open to applicants from all locations throughout the US and currently have hubs in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, and New York City.

The salary range for this position is from $65,000-$80,000 depending on experience. In addition to salary, UpStart offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, matching 401K, FSA, life and disability insurance, and an annual professional development stipend.
